No standards body sets this figure. The operator's own service agreement sets it. So the exhibit attached to that agreement is the most useful paper on the table. Three named operators publish credit schedules, and all three size the credit in a different way. One credits a percentage of the monthly charge for each 60 minute block out of range, under a monthly ceiling. One credits a thirtieth of the monthly charge for each day that fails a 24 hour average. One credits in steps against how much of the month the service met its target. Public government contracts for rented rack space carry the same shape. That shape is a hard service level, enforced through a capped credit schedule. The figure is contractual and binding, and that is what makes it the one this market manages by.

Condition of use: The credit does not pay itself. Segra pays it only when it is asked for and approved. The request goes in writing within thirty days of the reported violation. What this analysis did not put a number on

Capacity with no contract behind it. Capacity the room could sell and has not contracted carries no rate to price it at. This page also holds no baseline occupancy figure to price it against. CCMS invents neither one.
The peak demand charge on the room's own electricity bill. Billed peak demand comes off the room's own utility bill, not off an estimate. No published demand rate fits one room on one rate plan. So CCMS stands none in.
Servers wearing out sooner because the air they pull in ran warm. Hardware failure rates against the temperature of the air going into the server exist as a curve. Pinning one failed server on one warm spell at one site is not something CCMS can do honestly. So this page prices none of it.
What a CCMS response costs. Response cost is shown once three items come off the insurance policy. The first is the deductible on mechanical or equipment-breakdown claims. The second is any sublimit written for Extra Expense or Equipment Breakdown. The third is which loss type the policy names as covered. Those three questions are not on this page, so this line waits on a conversation rather than on a box.
How long the room holds after the air stops moving. How long the room holds after airflow stops can be computed from room volume and load. CCMS does that on site, against the room's own readings.
A forecast of how often this happens again. This page prices what already happened, from the room's own logs. The count of events in a year at the foot of this panel is the operator's own stated count. The annual strip multiplies by it exactly as stated. What CCMS declines to do is forecast how often it will happen again. No published rate of recurrence fits one room, so CCMS prints none. A second unit that can carry the load on its own shuts off that forward-looking branch, and with nothing forecast there is nothing here for it to shut off. Every cost this panel prices runs for a year rather than once per event. So the strip adds each of them once, and its product line reads zero an event beside whatever count is stated.
Any dollar-per-hour or dollar-per-minute figure. An outage in rented rack space does not reduce the operator's invoice. It creates a credit against that invoice, which is a different shape. An hourly rate would misrepresent it.
What CCMS's CARE program takes off the figures priced here. CARE is CCMS's own service program. It is not an industry term, and no outside body defines it. The name is a list of what the program does: clarify condition, anticipate failure, reduce downtime and lifecycle cost, extend asset life. The part of it that shortens an outage is a shelf of critical spare parts kept on site, and that shelf is what the second and third figures in the strip below would rest on. They rest on nothing here, so both of those cells read Not reached by spares. A shelf of spare parts acts on one thing only. That thing is the wait between a part being needed and a part being fitted. So it can only reach a cost that grows with that wait. None of the three costs on this page is one. The service agreement credit is a percentage of one month's recurring charge. It moves only in whole blocks of time, it stops at the ceiling the exhibit writes for a month, and it runs from the moment the air leaves the agreed range until it is back inside. A return visit that never has to be made adds no block and takes none away. The extra energy is a year of degraded running against the metered load of the room, and finishing one repair sooner does not shorten a year. Capacity signed for and not delivered is priced against a delay window a commitment document already records. No question on this page asks what share of that window was a wait for parts. The control offers four fractions: none at No onsite spares, half at Minimum Critical, seventy percent at High Impact, ninety percent at Max Uptime. Applying any of them to any of these figures would claim that the same share of it was time spent waiting on a part. No server room job on file measures that share. At No onsite spares the fraction is none, so that one setting and this refusal already agree. The one measured anchor CCMS holds for what missing spares cost is a single job. It is a school campus in the North Bay whose total came to 2.19 times the main repair because nothing was on the shelf. A school campus is not a server room. Where a shelf does reach this building type is response cost, and the response cost line in this same list names the three answers it waits on.
