Why most maintenance disappoints

Most service contracts only prove that work got done. That is the wrong job.

Every building pays for reliability sooner or later. You can pay on a schedule you pick. Or you can pay at 2 a.m., at emergency rates, with a rental unit on a truck and tenants on the phone.

The CARE system ties every step together, from equipment condition to spare parts to replace-or-repair timing. Each visit makes the next choice smarter.

Jared Peters, General Manager, ClimateCare Mechanical Service
Why we built it
“We kept walking into mechanical rooms and seeing the same thing: a binder full of finished PM checklists sitting ten feet from a broken machine. The chiller was still down. The part was nine weeks away. And the first person there had flipped the breaker three times, erasing every alarm that could tell us why. Nobody broke the rules of a status quo preventative maintenance plan. The status quo PM plans were the problem.”

Proof

Real results

All three stories come from our own job records, checked before print.

Caught on audit.

A San Francisco hotel chiller was getting a third of the water flow it was built for. Another contractor had choked it down by hand months earlier. Every PM sheet since was marked complete. One adjustment by our technician fixed it the same day.

Off the shelf.

At a job site, a fan part failed during startup. We had the part on our shelf and put it in the same day. No waiting on a supplier. The startup never stalled.

Planned, on purpose.

A campus heating plant started tripping at peak season. We saved the alarm history instead of erasing it. Then we checked every module. The owner got a replace-or-repair decision built on proof, on their timeline.

The difference, and the limits

A maintenance vendor proves work happened. We prove risk is going down.

Our restart guidance is a set of rules, not a repair. It protects information and prevents damage you can avoid. It never replaces a trained technician or the factory manual. We put those limits in writing. A program that promises too much is just a slower emergency.

CARE in ActionClarify how it runs. Anticipate what can fail. Reduce what it costs. Extend how long it lasts. The whole system, never one visit at a time.

Everything starts with the free Health Assessment

A senior technician checks one piece of equipment. Then we explain what we found, in person. If we cannot show you at least two risks you can act on, you owe us nothing.
